Victoria Maguire

Victoria Maguire is a Planner for Concord Square Planning & Development, Inc. Her interests include transit-oriented development and sustainable development practices.

Prior to joining Concord Square, Victoria worked as the Director of Constituent Services for State Representative Martin J. Walsh of Dorchester, Massachusetts. Her work included community representation and constituent services for the Representative as well as the development of legislative and budgetary initiatives. During her employment with the House of Representatives, Victoria also gained valuable public policy experience during her work as a research analyst under the direction of State Representative Eugene O’Flaherty, Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee.

Victoria holds a BA from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst (summa cum laude). As a graduate student in Public Affairs at the University of Massachusetts at Boston, Victoria received the 2006 Class Award for Outstanding Capstone Project for her dissertation on transit-oriented development in Quincy and Lynn, Massachusetts. Victoria has recently moved back to Boston after completing a Masters Degree in Regional and Urban Planning Studies at the London School of Economics.

Personal Notes

Victoria enjoys reading and traveling. A former member of the Boston Latin School and UMass Amherst women’s rowing teams; she hopes to soon resume rowing as a hobby. Victoria was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts.

In her hometown of Boston, Victoria has been selected to serve on the Mayor’s Task Force for the development of the Columbia Point Master Plan.
