Discussion: Current Projects

Wallingford, CT

This 23-acre IHZ includes three sub-districts designed to be compatible with both their surroundings and intended uses. Wallingford was the first Connecticut municipality to submit an application for a Letter of Eligibility to the OPM, and currently is awaiting word from the state to move forward through the review and adoption process. Concord Square performed the analysis and mapping, wrote the design standards, and worked extensively with Shipman & Goodwin to write the zoning regulations.

The following presentations were given at the December 15, 2008 public workshop for the Wallingford Incentive Housing Zone project in Wallingford, Connecticut. For more information on this project, please contact Karen M. Cullen, AICP, Senior Planner at kcullen@concordsqdev.com.
