Cathartes Private Investments, Grant Applications

Concord Square has provided development consulting services to Cathartes Private Investments since June, 2004 on this transit-oriented development which includes 146 units of market rate housing, and is nearing completion. Canyon Johnson Urban Fund II (Magic Johnson’s urban investment fund) is the financial partner on this development, which is Magic’s first real estate development in the Northeast.TOD_2.jpg

On behalf of the developer, and in a public/private partnership with the Boston Redevelopment Authority, Concord Square prepared and submitted TOD grant applications to the Office for Commonwealth Development in the 2005 and 2006 grant rounds proposing improvements to the Sullivan Square MBTA station pedestrian access.

For these applications, we worked with the Boston office of Carol R. Johnson Associates, an award-winning landscape architectural design and environmental planning firm.
